Collage Landscapes

The 6th graders recently looked at collage works by Mischa Epstein. Next,each child chose a landscape picture they liked and made a collage showing that landscape. Here are some great examples.

Gestures

The 6th graders recently learned how to draw people by using a technique we call "gestures". Here is an excellent project that Olivia completed.

Three Musicians

The 7th graders just recently looked at works by several different artists titled, "Three Musicians" and then created their own. Each student chose a genre of music and researched things that would work for that genre (instruments, colors, clothing, etc.). Here is an excellent example made by Jessica.

Pumpkin Painting

The 6th grade Independent Study students have been painting pumpkins that they donated to Van Wert Manor nursing home. Here are a few cute pics! Great job Madison, Alexis, Brandon, and Mark!
